Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 3 June 2026

SMFlow Ltd("SMFlow") provides a platform that businesses use to answer customer messages across channels such as the website chat widget and Telegram (with WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger being added). This page explains how to request deletion of personal data, depending on who you are.

If you are an end customer

If you messaged a business through a SMFlow-powered channel, that business is the data controller for your messages — SMFlow processes them on the business's behalf. To have your conversation data deleted, please contact the business you were messaging directly and ask them to delete it. They can remove your data from their SMFlow account.

If you are unable to reach the business, you can also email us at support@smflow.io and we will help route your request to the relevant business or, where we are permitted to act, assist with deletion.

If you are a business or account holder

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from Settings → Privacy & Data using the Delete button, which permanently removes your account and the data linked to it.

Alternatively, email support@smflow.io from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete your account and data. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

What gets deleted and when

When a deletion request is completed, we remove the personal data we hold for the account, including:

  • Account and business profile information
  • Conversation and message history across connected channels
  • Booking records and customer contact details stored in the account
  • Stored channel credentials (such as Telegram bot tokens)

We action verified deletion requests within 30 days. A limited set of records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, billing records), as described in our Privacy Policy.
